Data, purposes and legal bases
The free-audit form processes your name, email address and YouTube channel URL to answer your request, assess the channel and prepare an audit or proposal. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Technical security data such as IP address and server logs may be processed under our legitimate interest in protecting the website and preventing abuse (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
If you consent to analytics cookies, Google Analytics processes usage and device information so we can understand site performance. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time through “Privacy preferences”.
Retention
Enquiries that do not lead to a contract are retained for no longer than 12 months. If a contract exists, information is retained for the relationship and applicable tax, accounting and liability periods. Analytics retention follows the configuration of the Google Analytics property.
Recipients and international transfers
We do not sell personal data. Necessary providers may process it, currently Hostinger for hosting and email. Google processes analytics data only after consent and may involve international transfers under the safeguards described by Google. Authorities may receive information where legally required.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction or portability, and withdraw consent, by writing to hello@uttercaption.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
Children and security
Do not send third-party data without authorisation. The form is not intended for children under 14 without their legal representative. We apply reasonable security measures and update this policy when the service or legal requirements change.
